A new year of whisky adventures
The year is still young, everything is still possible! But we have already made big plans for 2024 and I look forward to sharing them with you and experiencing some of them with you.
The Society has been present in Switzerland for 30 years this year. Only Japan and the USA celebrated their 30th anniversary last year. In the current Outturn, we present the first exclusive bottling for this anniversary. The second will follow in autumn.
Globally, 2024 is entirely under the influence of sherry. The Society has had its own complete sherry concept since 2019. We will report on this throughout the year. Part of it in every outturn. But if you want to delve deeper into the topic, I recommend our online magazine Unfiltered. With podcasts, video reports and interviews, other articles and background information, you can deepen your knowledge
of sherry and its influence on whisky.
Of course, most of the tastings have already been organised until the end of the year; you can find all the dates online. I am also extremely pleased about the demand for Basel Tattoo tickets. This is sure to be a great event. The other smaller events will follow regularly via newsletter or Outturn.
